Our tours are tailored to your group, so you don’t need to be an expert mountain biker. We’ll plan the route around your experience, fitness and the type of riding you enjoy, from relaxed scenic trails to technical enduro-style riding.

We guide across Scotland, including destinations such as the Tweed Valley, Perthshire, Loch Lomond, Fort William, the Cairngorms and the Highlands. If you already have somewhere in mind, let us know. If not, we can recommend the best destination for your group.

No. You’re welcome to bring your own bike, or we can arrange high-quality mountain bike or eMTB hire for your tour. Just select bike hire when you send your enquiry and let us know how many bikes you need.

Yes. Both mountain bikes and eMTBs can be arranged. An eMTB can be a great option for covering more ground, maximising descending time or helping groups with different fitness levels enjoy the day together.

Our standard guiding price covers groups of up to six riders. Larger groups are absolutely welcome and we’ll add additional qualified guides to keep the group well managed and provide a great experience.

Yes. Every PEAK MTB tour is private to your group. We don’t combine you with riders you don’t know, which means the route, pace and riding style can all be tailored around you.

A half-day is ideal if you want a shorter introduction to an area or have limited time. A full-day gives us much more freedom to explore, link together bigger routes and experience more of the destination.If you’re travelling specifically for mountain biking, we’d usually recommend a full day.

Yes. We can build multi-day itineraries combining some of Scotland’s best riding destinations. Tell us how many days you have and the type of riding you’re looking for, and we’ll help put together the route.

Yes. Select “I’d like accommodation recommendations” when you submit your enquiry and we can suggest suitable places to stay based on your riding locations and itinerary.

Your quote includes your private mountain bike guide and the planning of your riding itinerary. Bike hire and any applicable travel charges are clearly shown separately, so you’ll know exactly what’s included before you book.

Once you’re happy with your tour, a 25% deposit secures your booking. The remaining balance is due 28 days before your tour.For bookings made within 28 days of the tour date, the full balance may be required when confirming the booking.

Send us your preferred dates, group size, riding ability and what you’d like from the trip. We’ll review your enquiry, recommend the best option where needed and send you a personalised quote.Once the deposit is paid, your tour is confirmed.

Mountain biking in Scotland means we’re used to changing conditions. We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and trail conditions leading up to your tour and can adapt the route or location where necessary to give you the best possible day on the bike.
